70% Served Are Under the Age of 24 In Our Community!
The 17th Annual Walk the Walk for Mental Health is not your average walk, it is a one mile Color Walk that celebrates mental and physical wellness, access to mental health services, and ending the stigma associated with discussing mental health with friends, family and community. #StepUp #WalktheWalk23 #ColorWalk
This year, the Walk will begin with a colorful opening ceremony and end with a Health Expo, featuring local fitness and health vendors, food trucks, games, face painting, music and more.
“Without the therapy I received at The Community House, I wouldn’t be the strong person I am today, and I wouldn’t understand who I am. Luckily through the accessibility of The Community House, I am the person I want to be, versus the person who had no choice.” -Hunter, 19
Lace up your shoes...Let's have some fun!
The Walk the Walk for Mental Health is a fundraising event, where you form teams of your friends, classmates and family to raise money for equitable access to mental health services at The Community House.
Our services are provided on a sliding scale, which means no one is turned away because of their inability to pay.
Over 60% of U.S. youth with major depression do not receive any mental health treatment. -Mental Health, Inc. 2022 State of Mental Health in America Study
By registering to walk, forming a team and raising money, you will help us change the lives of hundreds of people, who do not have access to counseling services due to affordability, access or fear.
